The room was big and attractive with lovely terrace and a huge balcony, for example as expected. Location: the hotel was really close to the Pousada, a grocery store 3 minutes' walk away and the post office. It was a couple of blocks away from Restaurante "o Barao", where you can have dinner.

We recently visited Pousada Barao De Forrester for the first time in 30 years and had a fantastic stay. The room was incredibly comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The highlight was definitely the food - the best we've ever had in Portugal! From the crisp salad with exquisite olive oil to the wonderful presunto and splendid monkfish, everything was absolutely delicious. The pool was also lovely and added to our enjoyable experience.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.
